We are situation in the beautiful West Wight, two miles from the ferry at Yarmouth. Nearby Freshwater has a range of facilities including chemists, banks and the usual shops. Colwell Bay is an unspoilt sandy beach with super clean shallow water. The sea wall stretches round to Totland Bay making this an easy walk and a great place to photograph sunsets over The Needles.

The nearest ferry service, Lymington in the New Forest to Yarmouth is run by Wightlink, who also operate the Portsmouth to Fishbourne service. Red Funnel operate the car ferry from Southampton to East Cowes and the Red Jet fast passenger service to Cowes. Motorists are advised to book early, especially at peak times when it is best to book the ferry at the same time as making your reservation. The bus service on the island is run by Southern Vectis and the number 7 and 11 buses pass the end of the road. We are happy to collect foot passengers from the ferry at Yarmouth.
