The Garden

The delightful garden is a place to escape, to relax and read or just to sit.  There are a number of seats throughout the garden some in sheltered positions and others in full sun.  We also have a sun canopy and a table and chairs if you prefer, or we can provide a rug for you to sit on the grass.

The garden is an on going project with some natural uncultivated areas attracting arrange of wildlife including birds, butterflies & bees, hedgehogs, toads, slow worms and badgers.  Bigger than it first looks, the garden is something of a tardis!

There are also places to hide away - the view from the path around the tree at Rockstone Cottage. A favourite place to sit in the garden at Rockstone Cottage, sheltered and out of the wind, it also gets the early morning sun. The garden at Rockstone Cottage contains many roses that provide a stunning display in late June.
The sundial at Rockstone Cottage is not adjusted to BST - so you will need to add an hour if you use it to check the time! Summer blooms at Rockstone Cottage
