""Warm welcome from hosts Sheena and Gary, with tea and home made choc brownies in their living room. Room had every imaginable extra, incl toiletries, loads of towels, Fairtrade tea, coffee etc, and more home made cookies. Cotton bedlinen and memory mattresses meant an excellent night's sleep. A few minutes' gentle walk to the sea, looking towards the Needles, and a good brisk walk to Totland along the shore's edge. Breakfast surpassed all expectation - home made Greek yogurt and granola, fresh fruit salad, yummy choice of cooked, all locally sourced, real decaff coffee [not often available in good hotels]. To round off our excellent experience, we were given home made shortbread for our journey. Go see for yourself; you won't regret your stay at Rockstone Cottage, although my waistline might!" "

" have to say that this is one of the best B & B's we've stayed in for many years. Sheena & Gary were wonderful hosts and made us so welcome from the beginning until the end of our stay. Rockstone cottage is situated in a very quiet road with plenty of off road parking and is only a short walk to Beautiful Colwell Bay and its wonderful sandy beach. Our room (number one) was decorated to the highest standard, had fabulous views over the garden and was sooo comfortable with a huge en-suite and spotlessly clean. The breakfast's were superb and Sheena your Brownies & cheesecake were to die for !! Thank you for a wonderful stay, you'll be hard pressed to find a better B&B on the Island than this !!! so much so, we've just booked to stay again next April. "

"Although we were Sheena and Gary’s very first guests, we didn’t feel in any way that we were guinea pigs! The welcome – with delicious scones, proper clotted cream (we’re from Devon!) and delicious home-made strawberry jam – was friendly and very warm. Our bedroom, looking out on the delightful garden, was exceptionally clean and equipped with everything we needed (including delicious chocolate brownies one evening!). Breakfast was a tour de force and Sheena and Gary well deserved the ovation they received from us after their first breakfast service. With all their home-made or locally sourced ingredients, the breakfasts at Rockstone Cottage are completely delicious. Sheena and Gary were receptive to ideas and input, when they requested it, as they embark on what will certainly be a most successful business. Well done both of you! Best wishes and lots of luck.
